CMC Materials is a global leader in high-performance materials for semiconductor, electronics, and industrial markets. The company provides precision chemical, abrasive, and polishing solutions that enable advanced manufacturing, delivering results worldwide with a focus on quality, reliability, and sustainability.

The Ask

After acquiring KMG Chemicals, CMC Materials rebranded with Addison, creating a new logo, identity system, brand videos, collateral, and a redesigned website. The goal was a distinct, dynamic look that reflects the company’s innovation-driven mission to deliver critical materials for peak performance.

While the content on third-level pages remained unchanged from the previous site, we leveraged the new identity system to elevate their visual presentation and align them with the refreshed brand. The homepage and section landing pages were completely reimagined, placing greater emphasis on CMC employees and company values. This approach reflected the site’s role as a key recruitment tool, helping attract talent while reinforcing the brand’s culture and mission.

3D Assets

We collaborated closely with a 3D animator to visualize CMC Materials’ role in advanced manufacturing. Product animations were created that break apart to reveal the critical components CMC Materials produces, highlighting their importance to overall product functionality.
